A Roman dream, built room by room.
Simon’s Guest House Rome was born from a desire to offer more than just accommodation: an authentic experience where every detail tells the story of Rome. I chose Piazza Michele Sanmicheli because this corner of Pigneto and Tor Pignattara (vibrant, genuine, unexpected) is the Rome I love. I personally oversaw every room: the fine marble in the bathrooms, the Jacuzzi tub in the Suite Deluxe, the warm lighting, the airy spaces. Our staff is trained to be genuinely hospitable: not just welcoming, but truly present.
The property
Five rooms, one artisan touch.
Simon’s Guest House Rome has five spacious, soundproofed rooms, furnished with marble of every kind (from the Verde Alpi of the Deluxe to the gold accents of the Suite) and equipped with air conditioning, heating, unlimited Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, safe and hairdryer, all free. The building has a lift; every room has a roomy wardrobe and a bathroom courtesy set. The Suite Deluxe adds a balcony with views and a Shiatsu jacuzzi tub. A small bar, parking (about 300 m away, by advance booking) and pets are available for a fee. Reception is open 10:30–19:00; staff are on call 24 hours a day.
Pigneto · Tor Pignattara
The street-art museum on your doorstep.
Over the past decade the quarter between Pigneto and Tor Pignattara has become one of the most vibrant in Rome. The walls of its buildings carry murals by Italian and international artists, from Gaia to Nicola Verlato, while the side streets host independent galleries, record shops, workshops and venues from morning espresso to evening aperitivo. A short walk away are the Mausoleum of Saint Helena (the tomb of Constantine's mother) and the Basilica of Santa Maria Ausiliatrice, alongside neighbourhood markets and traditional Roman trattorie. Pigneto itself, celebrated by Pasolini and reborn today, offers a unique atmosphere: everyday elegance far from the tourist circuit.

- Ciampino (CIA)Terravision/SIT bus to Termini (~40 min, ~€6); official taxi flat fare €31 to/from CIA. From Termini continue by tram/trenino (see below).
- Roma TerminiTram/trenino Termini–Filarete (~8 min) direct; alight at Filarete and walk ~3 min. Or bus 105 direct, roughly every 8 minutes.
- Roma TiburtinaBus 409 direct: ~8 min. Tiburtina is also a high-speed rail hub (Frecciarossa/Italo) and regional hub.
- Malatesta metro (MEC · Line C)Under a 10-minute walk from the property. Line C connects Pantano–Lodi via the centre; change at Lodi for lines A and B.
- Bus 105 & tram/treninoStops right outside. Bus 105 runs Filarete–Termini; the tram/trenino Termini–Centocelle calls at Filarete (~3-min walk) roughly every 8 minutes.
By car: the property is not in a restricted-traffic zone (ZTL) and is freely reachable. On-site parking is available about 300 m away, by advance booking.
